Vintage French Zinc Oval Fishing Creel Bait Bucket, Handle, Original Green Paint

Description

Found in the countryside of northern France, a charming vintage zinc oval fishing creel, bait carrier in very good overall condition, with original green paint still intact. Hinged lid and loop to open. Unique air holes in the shape of a K in the lid provides fresh air to the bait/fish. Metal rotating handle. Seam construction. In very good vintage condition; green exterior shows age and use. Clean interior with some surface rust spots. Water tight. Highly collectible! Circa 1950s.
Measures 9.25 inches by 7 inches at the base; lid measures 8.25 inches by 6 inches. Measures 4.5 inches tall (excluding handle upright); 9 inches tall with handle upright.
