    Description

    Found in northern France near the Brittany coast, a charming vintage
    zinc fishing creel, bait carrier in very good overall condition, with just minimal signs of usage, No leaks or dents.  Lovely aged and weathered patina earned with the years. Circa 1930s. Bale wire and wood swing handle; has been treated for woodworms. Lid is designed like a cup with a handle; holes for fresh air. Seamed construction. Oval base measures 8.75 inches by 6 inches; lid measures 6.25 inches by 4 inches; 2 inches deep. Creel measures 9 inches tall (excluding upright handle). Great gift for the fisherman! Use at your cabin to hold fresh flowers when not fishing.
