Here is a Rare Vintage Imperial (Field Flower) Sunset Ruby Red Carnival Glass Tumbler. This tumbler is 4" tall by 3 1/4" across the top outside rim by 2 7/8" across the top inside rim by 2 3/8" across the base. This vintage Tumbler is Pre-owned by Me, I have been collecting Carnival Glass for over 45 years and in the near future my collection of over 650 plus pieces will be coming up for Auction. This Tumbler is in Fantastic condition and has Brilliant color with NO Chips, Cracks and No Flea Bites
Field Flower was originally called (494 1/2), this much overlooked Imperial pattern is really a little jewel. Found in only standard size water sets and a rare milk pitcher, Feels Flower is found in marigold, purple, green, sunset red and a very beautiful clambroth. This design, basically a flower framed by two strands of wheat on a stippled background and is bordered by double arches the edge the stippled area and continue down to divide the areas into panels. The original had three mold or fused marks and had a twenty-rays star on the base photo #8. Field Flowers water sets were reissued from the same mold as the original except for the (IG) mark were the reissued used the (LIG) mark.
