  • Condition: From an estate. In good vintage used condition except The small back handle is broken on one side, I don't know if it could be repaired easily, but if used for display it looks good in place. Also the metal tooth for the latch (like a belt) the strap is missing so there is nothing to go through the holes in the leather. Leather is worn and old but still flexible. Some wonderful discoloration on leather in spots, looks used. Not any broken wicker seen, one small place on top maybe missing a half row, I am unsure. Includes straps shown in photos.

    Description

    This is a fantastic rustic wicker and leather fishing basket. It would still be useable with a little work but also could be just for décor for a man cave or den. Leather is old but still flexible. Only the one handle on back is broken on one side, it will stay in place and look great if used only for display, otherwise to use basket it would have to be repaired. Also the metal tooth for the latch (like a belt) the strap that closes the basket on outside is missing so there is nothing to go through the holes in the leather. The basket itself is in good condition, there is some age and used discoloration on the leather especially. It came from an estate from a fisherman, I do not know if some of the straps may have been replaced but they look good. Look on our store for other vintage lures and gear. Measures approximately 15" long, 9" tall, 8" wide. It weighs just about 2lbs without any packaging. See the photos for best details. Ask for more if you need it.
