Inspired by the traditional weapon of China's peasant armies, the Dadao, or big sword, was used for close-quarters as well as distance combat. Wielded with one or two hands, it offered tremendous slashing power because of its front-heavy blade.  Skeletonized one-piece durable composite material construction with a traditional round guard and cord wrapped grip.  A favorite of Chinese Kung Fu practitioners. Great for practice and light contact. Not for full contact training!    23.5" blade, 37" overall.. 22 oz. Made in the USA.
