The Cambodia 50 Riels was issued by the National Bank of Cambodia in 2002 with a pick number P-52a. The obverse depicts the Banteay Srei Temple on the center, a mythical snake called naga on the bottom left, and on the bottom right is a sculpture of Norak Singha. The reverse of the gold and brown colored paper bill features the Tek Thla sluice on the National Road Number 3. The banknote is presented with Khmer text on the front and English and Khmer texts on the back. The 130 x 60 mm paper bill has a watermark that reflects Khmer text. This particular Cambodia 50 Riels carries the serial number 5779775 which is read the same backward as forwards. Furthermore, it comes in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated.
