    Description

The Cambodia 50,000 Riels was issued by the National Bank of Cambodia in 2013 to commemorate the 61st birthday of King Norodom Sihamoni. The obverse of the banknote depicts King Norodom Sihanouk who was King Sihamonis father. It features Naga which is a mythological serpent. The reverse of the banknote centers the Koh Ker ruins and on the right is a sculpture of a baby elephant. The paper bill which is 152 x 72 mm in size has a solid security thread with a demetalized 5000 and the denomination in Khmer text.
