Rare Antique Brass Bookbinding Finishing Tool, Gold Gilt Embossing Stamp for Leather Books.  This ornate antique bookbinding finishing tool is in good condition, one flower pedal has a little ding on the end of it, shown in the last photo.   The brass tool measures 1 1/2" long, inserted in a 6 1/2" x 3/4" wood handle.  The face of the tool is rectangular measuring 1" long x 1/4" wide.  It is a gorgeous leather stamp with a daisy like flower on each end & 4 long lines in the center.   This is an exquisite antique gold gilding finishing tool and a must-have for any bookbinder or antique tool collector. ***Be sure to check out the other antique gilding tools that I have listed.***
